Sometimes transparency means showing you exactly why small labels make weird business decisions.

I decided to record myself doing something I had to do anyway - taking the new Singulars album "Spate" from final assets all the way to the pressing plant. Warts and all. You get to watch me fumble through Bandcamp uploads, make download cards, zip files, and have a minor panic attack when I realize tariffs might put this thing underwater even if it sells out completely.

This is gardening, not gambling in action. Singulars is Paurl Walsh and Mike Sparks, a one-off collaboration that yielded this album a while back. Established artists but a unique project. It's the kind of record that needs early groundwork, so here we are talking about it while I literally play the unmastered album underneath my rambling.

The record rips. Really proud of the art. Worth every penny of that now-terrifying unit cost.
