Real talk: What makes you press that buy button? 🤔

Alright, vulnerability time.

I've been sitting here wondering why the incredible Singulars record isn't flying off the shelves when I know it's one of the best things on YIELD. And instead of spiraling about it, I'm just gonna ask: what actually makes you buy from a label like mine? Is it the artist connection? The streaming-to-supporting pipeline? Pure speculation? I genuinely want to know because I think I'm failing at the basic communication part - not the records themselves (those are killer), but making sure you even know they exist and why they matter.

Josh from Modern Folk has been schooling me lately - that man hasn't stopped talking about his album for months and guess what? It keeps selling. Long tail, baby. Meanwhile I've got this insane September-October coming up with releases I'm tripled-down excited about, including Aaron's Spiritual Exit which might be the most emotionally devastating post-rock record I've heard in years. So help me out here - what works for you? What would make these easier to discover and harder to resist?
