Singulars listening party TODAY + Finally explaining what YIELD actually is 🎧

First off - huge thanks for all the love on last week's Mike Mannix interview. Turns out people really wanted to hear him talk personally about the labels, and honestly, that goodwill was infectious.

If you're reading this Friday morning, join us at 2pm Pacific for the Singulars listening party on Bandcamp. I keep evangelizing these things because they're basically the digital equivalent of a record release show, same vibe, same celebration, just without the locals only vibe. Even if seven people show up, it's still worth it.

Speaking of experiments - I'm cobbling together a Kickstarter-style pre-order system (without the 30% fee of Kickstarter). If we hit 80 copies in six weeks, we print. If not, everyone gets refunded. Scary? Sure. But maybe it's time we all got honest about what actually sells.

And finally, I tried to properly explain what YIELD is. Tell me if I pulled it off? I have been sitting on some of the best records of my career while deciding whether to do this. That was stupid. Time to fix it.
